From embryo transfer to pregnancy test: precautions and timing.

by es0os / faq

During the first visit the doctor investigates the physiological and pathological background of the patients. Embryo transfer is a delicate moment of the IVF treatment and also involves the couple from an emotional point of view. Patients often feel the need to understand how to best prepare for the day of transfer. They may be concerned about what type of lifestyle to observe and the precautions that should be taken to promote rooting. However, in utero transfer is an outpatient procedure that does not require sedation and is not painful. This means that it is not necessary to have an empty stomach and there are no special precautions to be taken. In the post-transfer phase, it is advisable to follow a normal lifestyle and avoid stress, both physical and psychological, particularly excessive strain. It is not necessary to remain bedridden, as this approach does not increase the likelihood of pregnancy.
